Privacy Policy
Your data, handled honestly.
Last updated: 18 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SIMply Golf 365 collects, uses and protects the personal data you share with us when you visit our website, book an event or a coaching session, or get in touch. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Ireland's Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver the event, coaching session or enquiry you've asked for.
When you book an event or a session
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- The service you've booked (corporate day, private gathering, coaching lesson), the date, and the venue or address where you'd like the dome set up.
- Any notes you give us about the booking — group size, venue details, access, or special requests.
- Bookings are taken through the OpenBook booking platform, which holds your booking and scheduling details on our behalf.
When you pay by card
- Where a service is paid for online by card, payment is processed by Stripe, not stored on our servers. We see only the masked last four digits and the receipt metadata.
- For invoiced corporate bookings, we keep the billing contact and any purchase-order reference you provide.
When you contact us
When you visit the site
- Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
- We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this site today. If that changes, we'll publish a cookie banner and update this policy first.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To run your event or coaching session — GDPR Article 6(1)(b), performance of a contract.
- To take and confirm your booking and contact you about it — Article 6(1)(b).
- To take payment and meet our tax, accounting and Stripe-related obligations — Article 6(1)(c), legal obligation.
- To respond to your enquiries — Article 6(1)(b) where you're booking, or Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To share photos or video of an event on social media — only with your explicit consent, Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; it won't affect anything we shared before you withdrew.
- To keep the site and our customers safe — Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with the providers we need to run the booking and the events. Each one is bound by data-processing terms.
- OpenBook — the booking platform that handles scheduling and your booking details.
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd — checkout and card-payment processing.
- Google (Gmail) — our email provider for simplygolf365@gmail.com.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — if you choose to message us on Instagram.
- Netlify Inc. — website hosting (EU region).
- Supabase / AWS Ireland — the database the marketing site reads our business information from.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Booking and Stripe payment records — for the duration of the booking plus 7 years to meet Irish tax-record retention.
- Enquiries and email correspondence — up to 24 months from the last reply.
- Event photos and video — kept while relevant to our portfolio; published only with your consent, and removed on request.
- Server logs — up to 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access).
- Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification).
- Ask us to delete your data (erasure) where the lawful basis allows.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave (without affecting earlier processing).
To exercise any of these rights, email simplygolf365@gmail.com — we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority — the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28.
Children
Our events and coaching are booked by adults. Where children take part in a booked event or a junior session, we only process the details an organising adult, parent or guardian gives us, and we don't knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 16.
International transfers
Our providers are based in the EU/EEA where possible. Where data is transferred outside the EEA (for example, some Meta/Instagram infrastructure), it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and note the new "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged at booking or on the home page.
